In a strong show of provincial immigration activity, the New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program (NBPNP) conducted four draws on June 16 and 17, 2025, across two immigration streams and four distinct pathways. A total of 608 candidates received Invitations to Apply (ITAs), making this the most active month for NBPNP draws so far in 2025.

With these draws, New Brunswick has now invited 2,015 candidates in 2025, continuing its commitment to welcoming skilled professionals and retaining international graduates in key sectors like healthcare, education, construction, and more.

Breakdown of the June 2025 NBPNP Draws

  1. New Brunswick Experience Stream – June 16
  • Pathway: New Brunswick Experience
  • Invitations issued: 25
  • Targeted sectors:
    • Healthcare
    • Education and social & community services
    • Construction trades

To be eligible, candidates were required to hold work permits expiring in 2025 or in January/February 2026. Notably, Material Handlers (NOC 75101) were excluded from this draw.

  1. New Brunswick Graduates Pathway – June 16 & 17
  • Pathway: New Brunswick Graduates
  • Invitations issued: 274
  • Occupational focus: All sectors

This stream targeted international graduates from New Brunswick institutions. To qualify, candidates needed work permits expiring in 2025 or early 2026. As with the Experience stream, Chefs (NOC 62022) and Material Handlers (NOC 75101) were excluded.

  1. New Brunswick Priority Occupations – June 17
  • Pathway: Priority Occupations
  • Invitations issued: 12
  • Targeted sector: Healthcare

This pathway specifically focuses on healthcare professionals in high demand across the province. It highlights New Brunswick’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its healthcare system through targeted immigration.

NBPNP Expands Invitations Amid Labour Needs
